Brazilian Bliss

Sun.........sweat......heat...........wet.........

Hot .........humid............sticky............sexy....

Rio de Janeiro=Copacabana, Ipanema

Carnival, music, party, food, cochina, beach, sand, capirinha...

Feathers, masks, have naked women, thongs, gay men, painted faces in tight places..

Portuguese, friendly locals, tourists, children, running in the rain, soaked, no umbrella...

Sand between my toes, wind in my hair, people everywhere...

Cheering. hustle bustle, expensive, pensive, coffee, taxi´s, buses...

Party on the bus, party in the street, dancing quica, walking, late nights, late mornings...

Rainy, cloudy, partially sunny, overcast days...

Love, lust, life, fire, passion, people kissing in the street, people pissing in the street, people begging for food...

Pick pockets, favelas, dirty hostels, need a shower, pay to pee, nothing is free...

Happy brazilian futbal games, Sugar loaf gorgeous views, a hilly mountainous organically built town, water and island, cable cars, Christo saves barely visible in the rain... but He is there on this great big mountain looking down on the city...admired by all.

Paraty=Pirate Town

5 hour bus ride, sunburn, dehydrated, sick to my stomach, camping in the rain, barefoot, slushy mud between my toes, mosquitos...lucky haven´t got me yet :-P I must be sour:-) ha ha ha ha

Small colorful tourist town landmark apparently floods the streets everyday, walking distance, beautiful beach, boat trip around little islands......

Pantanal Wetlands=Campo Grande

Bumpy lumpy roads and abnoxious music !!! whooooopiiiiii!!!
Shedding my skin like an iguana, ants, spiders and mosquitoes galore...

Bitten by a wasp! OUCH!
Full of wildlife...
Greeted by the Capybara `largest rodent in the world,´´
Spotted the great Caiman aligator just three feet in front of me...
Howler monkeys, raccoon like creatures, a crocodile, funny screaming ottors...
Toucans, parrots, hyacinth macaws endangered, blue herons, Ostrich..
Gigantic storks ``the coolest bird I have ever seen´
Natural water channels, lagoons, fishing for piranhas in the river...yummm piranha soup.
Over twenty million cattle in the fazendas, eco-tourism saves the swamps...

Horseback riding, hiking, volleyball, swimming in the same water shared with all these wild mammals and exotic birds of all the Americas....including anacondas and the jaguar who I have still yet to run into........
