Argentinian Excitement!

DON'T FORGET THE CUTE ANIMALS!!!

Argentina

Buenos Aires

A 4 hour ferry ride away from Uruguay

Angry instant coffee machines to luxurious hotels, night clubs and bars...

Entertained by the famous Tango, tango lessons, dancing away into the rainy night...

"La Boca" a colorful little barrio in the great big city!

Peninsula Valdez- the beginning of Patagonia-

Puerto Madryn is the city where the Welsh first landed.
Some of the most significant marine reserves on the planet exist here, but unfortunately the wrong time of year to see the southern right whales also known as killer whales or Orcas...
But I did see great big sea lions , seals, and penguins!

Passing through Chili for the just the night and right back into Argentina to " el fin del mundo," a place considered to be the end of the world where south America meets Antarctica! The town of Ushuaia! Tierra del Fuego! The land of Fire!

Yes...cold and rainy trekking through slippery mud, branches and rocks to climb up to see the town glaciar! Getting lost and watching each step! A long 8 hours b4 a nice meal in town.

Only the beginning....

El Chalten-a very small colorful town

The home of the famous mountain called "Fitz Roy."
Two people actually died trying to climb the sharp pointed rocks covered in snow...
It took me about 2-3 hours 13k just to climb to this beautiful glacier lookout..

The next day a 2 hour hike 11k through the mountain side streams to Lake Cerro Torre...

Bariloche-Argentina´s chocolate town

White water rafting - a natural chocolate high!
If you look closely, I nearly drown as I fell off the raft riding "the devils throat" a grade four rapid...as I was dunked several times, tossed n turned as well as sucked under the boat in the freezing cold water...oh geeeeeeee ! What a thrill...yikes! The key to survival...relaxation...

Hiking trails-This Cable Climb was the hardest climb as of yet...short and steep, slippery dirt but the view is literally breathtaking...
